ACIM Lesson 231 notes.

Father, I will but to remember you.

Love is all I want.

I had mixed feelings about the prayer for this lesson. I find it very beautiful as it touches me but at the same time saying that I seek for God’s Love does not seem right for me anymore.

In 2012, I opened to awareness of my spiritual Self and called myself a seeker for many years. Now I understand that my seeking through my unwavering focus on spiritual books and scripture was to understand a new part of me I was unfamiliar with.

Sometime ago, the idea of being a seeker left me; I don’t recall exactly when. I suspect it was due to the study of the Course. ACIM has reinforced in my beliefs that I carry the Love of God in me (as well as being in It).

Love, which created me, is what I am. (L229)

I just am. There is no more seeking necessary.

Welcome. What should I know today?

(This is me with words of welcome, waiting for His step toward me as offered in the Part II Introduction.)

[Peace.]

I re-read my notes from yesterday. There is stress in me today. (To settle, I got quiet with India.Arie “I am light”.)

Peace is here when I choose my perspective, the part of me I wish to give my attention to. I will only to be in my Loving center.

[Yes. Practice. It will get easier to remember and choose. Good tools you have been given.] (A reference to a book I am reading by RJ Spina, ‘Supercharged Self-Healing’.)

I have the promise. I have the will and the tools.

Presence of Love, I am here.

Yes! This lesson provides the words of my heart.

“What can I seek for, Father, but Your Love?

“For there is nothing else that I could ever really want to find.”

So it is. _/\_

“What can I seek for, Father, but Your Love? Perhaps I think I seek for something else; a something I have called by many names. Yet is Your Love the only thing I seek, or ever sought. For there is nothing else that I could ever really want to find. Let me remember You. What else could I desire but the truth about myself?“

‘What can I seek for …’

I wish to be a finder, no longer a seeker. I want to be in God’s presence. To know, enjoy, and bring the light and love back to this world and my community.

I want to know I am Love, light, holy child. And, reflect this to others so they too can know it.
