There is no peace except the peace of God.

“Peace is the bridge which everyone will cross to leave this world behind. But it begins within the world perceived as different, and will lead from this fresh perception to the gate of Heaven and the way beyond.” [CE W-200.8:1-2]

The peace of God will be with me through my willingness to forgive others.

I can be open-minded and see others differently than my initial perception.

I can understand how they may feel from my own difficult past experiences, or I may acknowledge that I cannot know how they are feeling.

I can choose to trust that their choices are based on their beliefs in what is best to minimize their fears.

And I don’t have to agree with them.

God’s peace holds me, so I choose to be present with it. God’s peace holds my brothers and sisters, even if they choose to attack everything in their experience.

“And I am glad and thankful it is so.” (para.11)

As I spoke yesterday, there was some wobbling going on within my mind related to a relationship. I kept bringing myself back to Love.

The wave that was wobbling my boat has dissipated and I feel peaceful. I float in the river of God’s Love. I feel Its flow as peaceful when I am in alignment with God’s will. When I try to block the flow, or steer off course, the waves form and I feel the turmoil of my own creation.

“And I am glad and thankful it is so.”

“Seek you no further. There is nothing else for you to find except the peace of God.”

Last night I heard the prediction of a WWIII scenario, so my mind is confused today. My first reaction is to resist the idea and to pray against it. Yet, I feel this is wrong.

In the previous lesson about the body, as we stop identifying with the body, we turn our actions over to HS to direct.

[Be at peace.]

This peace comes from God. I ask if God will intervene.

[No … the best and highest good.]

What does this fear have to teach me?

[You are a frightened child, allow Your Father to handle. Return to rest, bringing Love and light into your surroundings. Stay local, work inner.]

The peace of God is here. I am happy in my role as a healthy cell, thriving, in the body of Christ.

I need to learn this. I think I create the peace. I am that peace when I find my inner connection.
