Beyond this world there is a world that I want.

“You cannot stop with the idea this world is worthless, for unless you see that there is something else to hope for, you will only be depressed.” [CE W-129.1:2]

As I read this lesson, I thought that these ideas might be called ‘spiritual bypassing’ by some in the spiritual community. Later I watched a program called ‘Sandi’s Woods’ about a British comic who bought 15 acres of ancient woodland in England to manage back to biodiversity. There was a scene where she got angry and depressed because people were dumping garbage in the forest as well as trespassing to ride motorbikes and 4X4s. Later in the show she reached out to the local community to help with work around the woodland because it got to be too much. She received lots of help from volunteers so she then said of her depressed time that she should have remembered that there were more good people than bad.

Is it ‘spiritual bypassing’ to keep myself from getting depressed from hard times when I know, from personal experience, that all will be well? It is how I look at things that make the difficult time more difficult.

When I can sit in contemplation, connect with HS, I get another view that can soften the pain of fear that I am feeling. My low feelings can last for weeks, days, hours, or a moment depending on where I choose to see the situation from.

I am still as God created me, even going through this.

“Today the lights of Heaven bend to you, to shine upon your eyelids as you rest beyond the world of darkness. Here is light your eyes can not behold. And yet your mind can see it plainly, and can understand. A day of grace is given you today, and we give thanks. This day we realize that what you feared to lose was only loss.”

Again today, the CAC Daily Meditation provided the story of a person’s experience telling of briefly seeing the Love/light in a crowded situation. This lesson speaks of seeing, without the eyes.

I desire this experience, to see people in a way that I know I will never forget. I want the transformative experience of seeing within the material world that which is eternal – the real world. My heart is light, vibrations rise high. I am ready!

What I understand from lessons 128 and 129 is:

• We create this world with our minds by the assignments we make up on everything with our judgments of good and bad.
• Within our hearts we can find the world we want. A ‘loving reality’, Hollie says. I’m thinking of loving-kindness from seeing the light, innocence, and Christ within everyone of this world created by God.
