Review of lessons 73 & 74.

73] I will there be light.

“It is not my will to grope in darkness.” (1.2)

I bring my focus back to my Self who is connected/aligned with my higher Self. I wish to act from the flow of my loving Source, in wholeness with a greater collective. Here I can be confident in guidance to do, go, or say what will be truly helpful.

74] There is no will but God’s.

When we studied this lesson earlier this month, I found the message to be one of peace which is different for me. My first instinct to this lesson title is resistance, that I am being told to give up my own will to allow God’s. I resist when I feel like I have to give up something. Actually, this lesson title is a statement of truth about the nature of creation. God’s will has created me as well as everything I think I experience.

Why not be a peace in God’s creation?

When in nature, do plants and animals need to force their own will upon their environment? In school we learned of ecosystems. If wildlife put a different will into the balance of their ecosystem all living things in the system would suffer. Why don’t we humans see this?

74] There is no will but God’s.

(I re-phrased part of this lesson as a prayer for a friend who is hurting today.)

Make use of the power of God’s will today. Don’t let it be your will to grope about in darkness, fearful of shadows and afraid of things unseen and unreal. Light shall be your guide today. Follow it where it leads you, and only look on what it shows you.

“In this light this will look different.”

“This day I will experience the peace of true perception.”

You stand in the light with me, I am.

My days go by, and I am aware that I don’t see any new awareness.

Yesterday, did I create any new grievances? I hear, YES. I even feel them within me. I feel ready to create a new one by sending blame and guilt on You for not doing Your job of stopping me from judging.

Silliness really…

[Look within.]

Hey you (ego) … inside there! You ready for some fun?!

What if I chose to be in the world from a place of Love?! What if I let go of control, judging, manipulation?!

I am safe. I am happy … caring … fun!

All is well.
