All gifts my brothers give belong to me.

“Each day a thousand treasures come to me with every passing moment. I am blessed with gifts throughout the day.”

As I read these lines, I thought of the movie I watched yesterday, ‘Inside Out, Part 2’. In this Pixar film, Riley, a 13-year-old, is newly dealing with anxiety as she tries to control her life. Her inner parts of her mind, to save her self-worth, open up her suppressed memories of times she had felt negative emotions. The message I received from this part of the film was that every experience counts in making a well-balanced human.

I see this lesson relates to my thoughts in that all interactions with others can be recognized as blessings. Our thoughts and emotions might feel bad about something another person said or did, but it all can be perceived as part of our experience and then growth.

Everything my brothers and sisters give to me can be gifts that I can accept as belonging to me.

I like this new perspective! I do my work to let go of my individualist fears to be able to contribute my light to the collective – the Christ consciousness.

I want to give. I never thought of others, like me, who want to give so that I receive their gifts. We are blessed and bless-ed.
