ACIM Lesson 141 notes.

Review IV Introduction and review of lessons 121 & 122.

“My mind holds only what I think with God.”

“ … to place His Mind is charge of all the thoughts you will receive that (this) day.”

With my seminary retreat coming up next week, my thoughts were that it was good to come to review so I might step away from the lessons. This introduction has inspired me to think about how I might reflect on the lessons throughout my days away from home.

The statement we are meant to repeat with each lesson review I find does not connect me easily to spirit, so I thought to simplify it. Here is what I have come up with:

‘God, You’ve got this!’

I’m feeling good about bringing this into my practice.

“My mind holds only what I think with God.”

‘God, You’ve got this!’

121] Forgiveness is the key to happiness.

122] Forgiveness offers everything I want.

“My mind holds only what I think with God.”

At first, I thought of this statement as needing my evaluation or judgement. Is it true or false?

Few people could say this is true as we hold tightly to our worldly perceptions. I realized it is meant to be a declaration, like ‘I am a Holy Child of God’.

Understanding this pulls my beliefs, faith, and hope into a better direction. So, I remind myself of the importance of this statement in my growth.

“My mind holds only what I think with God.”

121] Forgiveness is the key to happiness.

122] Forgiveness offers everything I want.
