“Forgiveness, truth’s reflection, tells me how to offer miracles.”

Forgiveness is truth’s reflection … hmm.

In forgiveness, when we open to see things differently, we are opening a door for the truth to come into our awareness. When we ask to see other perspectives on a situation, we may not know for certain what is the truth behind why the other person acted as they did, but we open to the possibility that they acted as they did because of their own hurt and need to protect themselves. In forgiveness, we may never know the true motivating factors of the other. What is the truth is that we open ourselves to the possibility of the other’s innocence. It is always in there, provided by our Creator. This is the truth.

Holy Child of God, I wish to see you.

The gift!

I had trouble understanding this lesson, so I went to Hollie’s notes on it before journaling. My take was that this was another lesson on giving and receiving. This is in there, but Hollie pointed out the many lessons (and tools) brought together in this one:

• Understanding who I am from seeing the innocence in my brother.
• Forgiveness as ‘truth’s reflection’, brings troth into the world.
• Forgiveness heals.
• What I give to another is given to me.
• We remove our limitations.
