You didn’t love me as I needed. 
I hovered around smiling and light filled. 
You didn’t see my shine; you were just too busy.

You didn’t hold me as I needed. 
Where were the cuddles? 
My lite kiss while you slept scared you and then scared me.

You didn’t give me what I needed. 
Where was the love to build my confidence? 
My inner light dimmed when it was not accepted and reflected back.

I didn’t receive what I needed. 
Now I build it for myself, within myself. 
Great Love, surround me, flow through me giving me strength and joy to share with others. 
And to forgive.
