ACIM CE Text notes – Day 303

T-26-IV Where Sin Once Was.

10-30-2025

“This tiny spot of sin that stands between you still is holding back the happy opening of Heaven’s gate.” [CE T-26.IV.5:7]

Tuesday, in study group, I shared an idea that came to me when reading that morning the section ‘Forgiveness-The Face of Christ’ in the Clarification of Terms. This section reminded me of my one take-away when first reading through the Course. My take-away was ‘how can I look at this differently?’

The idea I had was that forgiveness is the grace (miracle mindedness) to ask ‘how can I look at this differently’. Basically, to stop looking outside at the role of others and to open myself to other possibilities of perception and understanding. I think this is what is being said in this section.

This spot on which I stand becomes a holy place when I stop judging and attacking others so I can be OK. The holiness returns when I ask to see another way, opening the door to truth – the face of Christ.
