Light and joy and peace abide in me.

There is an ease to saying the lesson theme today. As I read through the paragraphs, reminding us of the things we are not, I bypassed them as, today, I seem to know I am not that.

The tricycle metaphor realization that I had on Monday has made a change. A closure has occurred. I see the parts of my identity influenced by tradition and scripture are no longer of service to me. I feel no obligation to defend these beliefs as I thought that they were part of myself.

There has been a clearing. There is room for the light to shine and through me.

“Light and joy and peace abide in me.”

Perhaps now they can be active as I have de-cluttered.

“The self you made is not the Son (Child) of God. Therefore this self does not exist at all.”

The tremors of worry still rise up and I question them … bring them to the light.

‘My dear one, light and joy and peace abide in you. Your sinlessness is guaranteed by God.’

Dear Lord, I wish to feel this.

“My sinlessness is guaranteed by God.”

“Creation is eternal and unalterable. Your sinlessness is guaranteed by God. You are and will forever be exactly as you were created.”

Love this … it provides perspective that all our little happenings, that we classify as sins, are nothing to God and our eternal beingness. They have value only in providing the experiences which aid us in our growth.

You reap what you sow.

It seems this physical life brings lessons, karma, for us to work through (some say ‘clear’). I am seeing that there is a great deal of emphasis put on karma that could be unnecessary if we just put our awareness on our sinlessness nature, as God sees us. Perhaps there is not so much work to do.

There are many paths, so I can accept and support those souls who struggle, suffer, and work to learn of their inner light. The Course is showing me that just in my acceptance that I am as God created me, Light and Love, I am free, whole, and where I need to be – right here.

I am not hiding my light under a bushel.

So it is!
