“The body is a tiny fence around a little part of a glorious and completely limitless idea. It draws a circle, infinitely small, around a very little segment of Heaven splintered from the whole, while proclaiming that within it is your kingdom, where God can enter not.” (2.304)

“The holy instant is your invitation for love to enter into your bleak and joyless kingdom and transform it into a garden of peace and welcome.” (11.1)

I had the thought that the holy instant is more than just the Sun breaking through the clouds over me, but, perhaps, more likely to be significant with my partner. I’m curious about this.
