T-11-VIII The Real World.

“Every loving thought that the Son of God ever had is eternal. Those which his mind perceived in this world are the world’s only reality.” (2.2-3)
What is real is only what is eternal. In this world that would be love.
As I read the commentary from CircleofA.org, what came to mind was a drama I began watching last week. After the first episode I shut it off disappointed as the main character acted quite upset about learning of a lie her sister-in-law had made decades earlier. I was disappointed as I felt that the story line was going to use what I saw as a minor, forgivable, event as a critical turning point. So, bring it back to this section on ‘the Real World’, I wondered how I would feel about the story if I put my attention on the loving-kindness events. Would I find the story more entertaining or more rewarding? Can I bring this idea into my own life?
When I think about my choices, I do see that I choose loving experiences, such as gatherings and uplifting entertainment, but I also see that I judge other things as wrong. My view should change to just accept that I have made another choice and to not consider what others may choose as wrong. I choose to focus on the love in the world, as well as to not leave negative judgements behind me as I move forward on my path.
