ACIM CE Text notes – Day 99

T-6.V The Answer to all Questions.

4-9-2025

“Being alone lives in the Kingdom, where everything lives in God without question.” (9.6)

I tend to think of being and doing as equal since I learned to associate these ideas with female and male energy. My thoughts on this are changing this morning.

Yesterday, I became anxious about what I will do after seminary. Through speaking with a mentor, I saw that I was not trusting God and using my own will to form some ‘doing-ness’.

In the CAC Daily Mediation this morning (cac.org, 4-9-2025), it spoke of the Desert Mothers and Fathers. One of their tenants was described as ‘hiddenness of the self’. This phrase confused me until this was offered:

“The monks (Desert Mothers and Fathers) knew that the false self projects a polished public face in order to cultivate the admiration of others, but the true self is content to remain hidden in Christ.”

(I felt this in my heart.)

This section of the Text tells us that ‘being alone lives in the Kingdom’. The thought that came to me was that action (doing), which seems to hold more worldly attachments (ie. Relationships, identities, achievements), should come from the inspiration of hearing God’s Will. This says to me that I can be in my ‘holy child of God’ peace (being) holding a readiness to act if and when HS speaks to me. Here I am Lord.
