“Salvation is a collaborative venture.” (FIP 4-VI.8.2)
Not sure why … but I decided to compare this section in the CE with the FIP version. Looking at the FIP, the line above stood out. I searched the CE (using the app) and this line is not in there. (?) For me, this line summarizes a key point of this section, and of the course.
Love must flow. Salvation cannot be achieved through isolation.
In the Workbook, Part 2, chapter about Salvation, it says that God’s Son was given the thought of peace at the moment of separation, “The moment his (Son) mind had thought of war.” (W.II.2.2.1)
A thought of war is a thought attacking our brother. We need the awareness of one another to make the choice to see differently. We need forgiveness and salvation … together.
