Cameo 12: Defenses are now being used much better.

This cameo is offered us to give examples to better understand positive uses of defenses and denial, how we can use them to recognize errors of thought to be right-minded. The author, after giving the examples, mentions that Helen ‘righted’ her thoughts three times. This reminded me of the three temptations of Christ Jesus, so I read Matthew 4:1-11 to reflect on this story.

Satan did not hold ‘a chance in hell’ (lol) of getting past Jesus’ defenses of Atonement. His devotion to God, expressed through scripture, held firm.
