T-1.44-45  Miracle principles 44 and 45.

MP 44 summary – miracles arise from a miraculous state of mind.

“The impersonal nature of miracles is because Atonement itself is one.” (T-1.44.2.1)

MP 45 summary – The miracle is an expression of an inner awareness of Christ and acceptance of His atonement.

“The impersonal nature of miracle-mindedness insures your own grace, but only Christ is in a position to know where grace can be bestowed.” (T-1.45.3.4)

These two principles speak of the impersonal nature of our role in miracles, that Christ sees the whole so we should leave the specifics to Christ. I felt confusion thinking of Cameo 10 yesterday, how Helen seemed to pray to the souls of her loved ones instead to God. Is this not personal?

I got an answer reading MP 45 through again … it speaks of our mind in a state of grace. We are asked to share the field of grace with another. This feels to me like remaining impersonal as what I am sharing is Universal. And, if I offer Universal truths like seeing the love contained within themselves or noticing the illusions of this world, then these are also impersonal.

We will no longer be separate (with personal thoughts), the field of grace (which is impersonal) extends God’s Love through us and into this world.
