Conflicting wishes cannot be my will.

“If I would have what only You can give, I must accept Your Will for me, and enter into peace where conflict is impossible.”
A phrase got my attention recently. It is ‘unconditional peace’. This sits so well within me. A peace that is always here with me. Peace comes with Love and I am made from Love.
It came as a bit of a surprise to see my 2022 notes indicating that I felt resistance to letting go to God’s Will. I did not realize at that time that what I desire (love, peace, joy, purpose, is what God’s Will holds for me.
It appears that God’s gifts to us appear as our desires. These gifts were held before me and I just needed to step forward toward God to received. Of course, there was much I needed to let go of to take each step. Burdens like control, self-righteousness, resentment … to name a few.
Feeling blessed today to see that my will and God’s Will are the same.

Your way, not my way.
“Let me not try to make another will, for it is senseless and will cause me pain.”

“Your will alone can bring me happiness.”
We moved away from the lovely lessons on Christ awareness back to God’s will for me. ☹
Accepting God’s will means giving up control, trusting God, and surrendering. I’ve been through this lesson before and appreciate that God’s way is the best way – I just don’t see myself putting it into action in my life yet.
I asked for examples of when I do so and heard, “when I ask for help.”
Love this as 2022 is my year to learn to ask for help!
I don’t have to know everything or do anything. (I do enjoy saying, “I don’t know.”)
God knows. My body knows. Other people know. HS knows.
I am surrounded by God’s helpers.
Blessed.
