My sight goes forth to look upon Christ’s face.

“Today our sight is blessed indeed.”

As I look over my notes, I see I have prayed for this sight for, at least, the past three years. For a moment I felt down but, within, I was reminded that my sight has changed. It is evolving. My willingness to Love is a key part. Also, my lessons in seminary on implicit bias as well as the study of many religions and cultures. All this had broadened my vision, along with connecting my heart, to what I see.

Perhaps it is time to stop wishing to see and instead acknowledge, ‘Yes, I look upon Christ’s face in everyone I see.”

“I ask Your blessing on my sight today.”

I am ready, Lord. Take away any last fears and beliefs that keep my eyes from touching my heart with the image of Your Creation.

“Today I choose to see a world forgiven, in which everyone shows me the face of Christ, and teaches me that what I look upon belongs to me; that nothing is, except Your holy Son.”

I asked yesterday for help with seeing and here is my prayer given for me. I am blessed by this course work each day.

“I ask Your blessing on my sight today.”

Yes, I wish to look upon Christ’s face always. I wish to be present with the joy and light within all the life that exists within this world.
