Let all things be exactly as they are.

Help me to see.
I hand over all of the categorizing and ideas I think I know of this world so that I can stand in wonder of what appears before me.
Bless me so, Great Love.

“Let me not be Your critic, Lord, today, and judge against you.”
This lesson fits right in with the blog post I wrote yesterday about the stories we make up in our mind. Here, this lesson brings so much more to my thoughts. My focus was on how our fears burden us and others. This lesson is about how our fears are also a critic of God. A lack of trust in God is showing up in me again. And now I know, from the Manual for Teachers Chapter 4, that trust is the first characteristic for God’s teachers. This lesson adds to that understanding – when I withdraw my own ideas and let Creation be as God created it, I will also recognize my Self as God created me.
“What can frighten me, when I let all things be exactly as they are?”
(Hollie reminded me, in her notes, this is not about letting go of the wheel but about seeing the world with wonder, in awe of God’s Creation.)

Help me to “let it be as You created it.”
Help my eyes to see, and my mind to understand, Your creation as you intend it. Help me to love rather than judge my brothers and sisters. Amen.
