194] I place the future in the hands of God.

“And I accept but what He gives as what belongs to me.”

When listening to CAC podcast ‘Another Name for Everything’, S2:E5, I became confused from a question regarding ACIM saying “I am not a body.” This was during a discussion with Fr. Richard on embodiment. The podcast discussion was reflecting on the importance of soul in Christian faiths and bringing importance to the body. The speaker’s interest in embodiment raised doubt on the teachings of ACIM.

I think it is how we look at the importance of the body. In lesson 199 I see that ACIM takes it one step back. Many identify with the body so it is a breakthrough I consciousness to come to realize the true eternal Self. It is another step forward to then see the body as sacred, in service to the Holy Spirit.

I place the future in the hands of God.

“The past is gone; the future is not yet. Now I am freed from both.”

My mind immediately goes to Eckhart Tolle, ‘Power of Now’. My ego likes that I have a way to classify this info by knowledge that I already have.

Presence

What I like is the feeling of being in the ‘Now’! It feels like peace, all is well, all will be well.
