I will step back and let Him lead the way.

“We are asked today to relax our grip on what we think the world is for. We are asked to resign as the boss of the whole life thing. We are asked to turn our eyes instead towards the Love beyond and inside all of it and accept this into our hearts so that we can light up and be led so that we might, in turn, lead.” ~ Hollie Holden

As I read the lesson, each line was pleasurable as it affirmed where I am today and where my attention should be.

“We walk with God.”

I had not one line to build this reflection upon and only joy at completing the reading. Not knowing how to proceed I thought to turn to Hollie’s notes.

She completed the work I was considering, of trying to summarize the whole lesson. I am thankful for Hollie’s blessing and wish to move forward with my day, to ‘walk along the road to Him’.

“We walk to God. Pause and reflect on this.”

Changes in my life have been difficult in recent years, but still I walk toward God. Being retired has cleared my busy life, but each morning I reflect and walk toward God. Each day I ask, ‘Tricia, what is next?’ knowing that it must be something that keeps me walking toward God.

The changes are tough on my psyche while in my walk toward God I find peace.

Blessed Holy Child of God.

Feeling grateful for this beautiful lesson. I require the help to ‘step back’ and release control.

Trust in God.

I don’t have to do anything – fix or solve anything.
