ACIM CE Text notes – Day 181

T-14-IV Guiltless Decision Making.

6-30-2025

“It is not true that you can make decisions by yourself or for yourself alone. No thought of God’s Son can be separate, or isolated in its effects.” (1.3-4)

“He will never ask you what you have done to make yourself worthy of the gift of God … God knows that you are.”  (4.1,7)

“How gracious is it to decide all things through Him (HS), whose equal love is given equally to all alike. ” (8.6)

I make decisions from my limited perspective about how I want things to be for myself. Subconsciously, I know and expect trouble to come back to me as I can’t know how others will feel or be affected. Guilt is persistent.

If I ask HS to guide me, my choices will liberate me from guilt. HS’s choice will have a broader reach, to take me outside myself, with compassion for others.

“… with love for everyone who will be touched in anyway by the decision.” (9.2)

“The Holy Spirit knows that all salvation is escape from guilt.” (5.7)

I trust you, HS. Your love for me and others can only offer guidance that extends love as well as salvation to us.
