T-2.IV The Reinterpretation of Defenses.

“You are accepting the end as valuable, thus signifying your willingness to use defenses to insure it.” (12.3)

This quote brought to mind how when I take in a lesson I find value in, my thoughts go to how I would defend this idea to some unknown fundamental religious person. I don’t  think that these are the means to my integrating valuable lessons (ends). Jesus then asks:

“What do you treasure and how much do you treasure it?” (13.4)

What I treasure most is being in loving relationship with God, acting with loving-kindness, out of respect, to all other people and all beings on this planet.

This I offer to you, Jesus, to plan your lesson plan for me.
