I get that there are may generations of \u2018fear of God\u2019 socialization in my psyche, but I feel the need to think past that \u2013 I chose my will over God\u2019s Will eons ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2018I wanted to play\u2019 is the thought arising. Isn\u2019t there playtime in God\u2019s Kingdom? Are there so many rules that options outside of joy and peace were appealing to me?<\/p>\n\n\n\n I\u2019m thinking of a young child, under 5-years-old, who is loved, protected, and given much to play with, but still walks away from the safe place to try things that may hurt her. This is all to satisfy desires for learning and independence. Were these \u2018mad ideas\u2019 an idea of God\u2019s to instill these desires in us?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Many spiritual theorists say that we cannot know our true selves without researching what we are not? The idea that we are asleep in the Kingdom of God, having mad dreams, is what the Course teachings give me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I\u2019ve done enough dreaming, dear God.
