\u201cThe message which the crucifixion was intended to teach was that it is not necessary to perceive any form of assault as persecution, because you cannot be persecuted.\u201d<\/em> (9.1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We chose how we see the actions of others toward us. The body can be assaulted, but how we perceive and react to the attack is our choice. My eternal, authentic innocent being that God created remains whole. If I can remember that I can avoid falling into retaliation and instead try to look on my brother with compassion for the healing we all require.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
