\u201cHere I am, Lord.\u201d<\/em> (12.1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At lunch yesterday with P, I was telling him about the shakiness I feel in the minutes before and after I speak in my classes. I don\u2019t like it because I can\u2019t engage with what people before me and after me are saying. He said to  me that his method is to get present by telling himself, \u201cI am here\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I feel a connection between this conversation and the line above. Grounding, getting present, can offer kindness to my body which is energized. Bringing my mind to the spiritual support I desire in that moment can clear my mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
