Day 37<\/a>, I tell of how I am now thinking of \u2018atonement\u2019 as meaning \u2018healed\u2019. As I reflected on this section, I noticed my over-simplification \u2018healed\u2019 as to body healing. So I paused to get my perception \u2018righted\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\nHealed \u2026 as in returned to the love-light that is in the \u2018image of God\u2019 like before the experiences of my wandering off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The \u2018Prodigal Son\u2019 has come to mind. When the son is welcomed by the father, that is salvation (liberation from the separated condition). Atonement for the son occurs when he can accept his place beside his father with mutual love and respect (reconciliation with God and wiping away of separation (our belief in sin)).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Can I accept Atonement? I don\u2019t see why not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
