Why am I hurting and you\u2019re not? \nWhy am I doing and you\u2019re not? \nDon\u2019t leave me to have to do it all!<\/pre>\n\n\n\nFine, I\u2019ll do and do and do. \nStay out of my way as I bulldoze through! \nAnd, don\u2019t be surprised when you find me lying on the floor.<\/pre>\n\n\n\nI will keep this household while working with the pain.\nI\u2019ll keep this job advancing without expecting any gain.\nIt will all be as I think you expect and will not let anything fall.<\/pre>\n\n\n\nDo you see me suffering for you?\nDo you not see I have crashed from all that there is to do?\nWhy can\u2019t I be like others who just drop the ball?<\/pre>\n\n\n\nNo. There is so much to do and do it right.\nBut, if I\u2019m dead, will there be another who sees I was right?\nI\u2019ll be seen as imperfect \u2026 which is beyond my control.<\/pre>\n\n\n\nAnd, when I\u2019m gone, will any of this matter?\nMy work left undone; memories of me fleeting and scattered.\nWill you hold lasting remembrances of how hard I tried to love well?<\/pre>\n\n\n\nDear Lord, I ask for a chance to change,\nfrom this false self to one who will engage.\nTo be one who lives in my heart and can act from there.<\/pre>\n\n\n\nUnlovable no more, I\u2019ll begin with loving me.\nMy vision will open to find more imperfect souls just like me.\nI\u2019ll extend my hand and love them through their own time on the floor.<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Written to release resentment.
