My light burst forth and they were there to greet me.<\/h1>\n\n\n\n
The ones I had chosen and those who had chosen me.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
I smiled and giggled and laughed and grew.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
And, they basked in my light, working hard to keep it bright.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
As I strived to grow more like them, to move in their world,<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
I expected they would be patient with my ways that were once theirs.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
I brought my gifts and eagerly expressed them,<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Only to find that they did not fit in with what the giants wanted.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
I believed my light of love would break through and we would connect again.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
But their fear for my fitting in was more powerful so I could not sustain it.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
I fell.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
