Therefore, I understand its use of the word \u2018exist\u2019 as meaning things that are eternal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I am just finishing in seminary the month we are studying Buddhism. In it we learned that everything of this world is impermanent (and a cause of our suffering as we attach our desires to impermanent things). We could change this lesson title to say, \u201cGod did not create an impermanent world\u201d and it would be true as it is our desires that want permanence on the things that make us feel secure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All this mess is our doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We can be down on ourselves for this thought, or we can notice the jewel in this idea. \u2018Oh! We are creators too!\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n I recognize how this realization can quickly lead to the thought, \u2018How can I do this better?\u2019<\/em> Herein lies a path to \u2018Heaven on Earth\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe world you see has nothing to do with reality.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n God did not create the situation in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n God did not create the war in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n God did not create the craziness in the USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n God did not create my mom\u2019s mental and physical conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n God did not create these and so they are not real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n (Sorry, busy day.
