The opening paragraph reminded me of my vows at ordination. There was much preparation for that dedication. Is this on random or planned in perfect timing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I prepared my study group notes, scanning back and forth between this week\u2019s lessons, I see the progression of our studies from Self, spirit, mind, choice, and, now today, the declaration of my choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I accept my part. Yes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I accept my part, now. I feel comfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We hear in the lesson that we are supported by the \u2018guiltless\u2019 who \u201cdo not doubt their own ability because they know their function will be filled completely in the perfect time and place<\/em>.\u201d They offer their gifts that we are meant to then pass onto the \u2018uncertain\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe do not choose but for ourselves today.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n I accept my part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Reading the lesson, my attention was on the emphasis given to the practice periods. I am resisting 5 minutes every hour as it seems infeasible to me. I do feel guilt now for not doing (or trying) and I will feel guilt later from not accomplishing it. The lesson does not soften my guilt by saying that they are just mistakes. Mistakes are wrong doing to me, reasons for guilt and shame. Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n I always need to know why I should do something before I put int effort. The last paragraph helps \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHe is there once more to spend a little time with you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Its more appealing to me to just see the assignment as checking in with God every hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I also like Hollie\u2019s suggestion \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe are like undercover Love agents who are accepting the mission to love ourselves and each other.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n _\/\\_<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dear Love, help me to remember to check in each hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I feel resistance to accepting this. I sense two reasons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The lesson is very optimistic that our acceptance will bring only good and is a time for celebration that we\u2019ve accepted God\u2019s plan. The lesson says, \u201cI will accept\u2019 instead of \u201cI accept\u201d, as though it is still being worked on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I am blessed. God\u2019s way is always best. Why do I still resist?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hollie has told us students that our teacher trusts us! (receiving = giving)<\/p>\n\n\n\n I will accept my part in God\u2019s plan for salvation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhat would you have me do? Where would you have me go?
