What am I?\u201d<\/em> [CE W-91.6:3-4]<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u201cThe miracles your sense of weakness hides will leap into awareness as you feel the strength in you.\u201d [CE W-91.4:7]<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This morning in meditation, I asked the question, What am I? I moved past words that I always use like love, light, truth to understand more. (Prior, I asked HS and was told understanding was available to me.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My thoughts brought me \u2018wave\u2019, like light is a wave and a particle. I had the \u2018A-ha!\u2019 then. I too am of the quantum!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My metaphor of the collective extending down in a finger to offer an individual representation that is me can also apply to a particle manifesting from the quantum field (the wave) of possibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The collective consciousness = the field of possibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My individual expression = the manifested particle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It takes a consciousness, an observer, to cause the particle from the wave = God\u2019s will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The light in which I see miracles is remembering that I am always still attached, in the flow of the wave of possibility that is God\u2019s will. LOVE!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4-1-2024<\/h1>\n\n\n\n
I am light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I followed the practice and felt the Love in my heart. I took my focus off of my eyes, seeking vision, and moved my focus back behind my head (as I recall learning from Michael Singer). I felt the flow in my toroidal field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I had an experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This brought me to think about Fr. Richard\u2019s teaching of \u2018the Holy Balancing Act\u2019 (2-6-2023 Daily Meditation, cac.org). It said that to be a Christian in balance took evaluation of 3 authorities — he used a tricycle metaphor. The two back wheels he described as the outer authority of tradition and scripture. The tricycle\u2019s front wheel is the inner authority of experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today, I understand this teaching better as my recent seminary studies have me seeing authorities of tradition versus scripture very clearly in various Christian denominations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fr. Richard said in the meditation that Christian religions have not taught of the role of experience but asked how it could be avoided as everything we take in is filtered through our experiences. (He gives a nod to some churches promoting prayer as how experience may have been brought in to aid with growth in faith. He is always gracious in seeing things from another perspective.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ACIM uses experience to teach. Miracles are experience! Is ACIM a unicycle?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On reflection, I see tradition as the cause for the \u2018undoing\u2019 lessons of the workbook. And when ACIM references Gospel scriptures, it seems for me it is so they act as validation for ACIM teaching of true perception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I can see how the tricycle metaphor would be very useful for Christian students to assess problems and questions they may have. I wonder if this metaphor works for other religions. For ACIM?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is something happening here with timing, giving authority to the past versus living in the present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Receiving God\u2019s grace does not involve the past. Living and loving are happening now. Our experience of light and miracles are happening NOW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4-1-2023<\/h1>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe body\u2019s eyes do not perceive the light. But I am not a body. What am I?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nI am the holy child of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI am not weak, but strong. I am not helpless, but all powerful. I am not limited, but unlimited.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nI am not unworthy but receiving all God\u2019s Love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am not at risk of hurt and pain but exist within Love\u2019s presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am not a mistake but am just as God wills me to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The light has come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4-1-2022<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe body\u2019s eyes do not perceive the light. But I am not a body. What am I?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve known I\u2019m not my body for a long time. I do see miracles and synchronicities. But I do try to see in the dark and I limit my light, or forget about it all together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
