Be very still, and hear the gentle Voice for God assuring you that [God] has judged you as the [Child] He[\/She] loves.\u201d (2.1-2)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n My attention went to the lines about judgement, then I read my notes and felt that I did a good job reflecting on judgement the past two years. My eyes returned to the lesson, and I saw in the second paragraph what I did not see before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A gift is there, hidden to me, as I evaluated and critiqued myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What other gifts am I not seeing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnger must come from judgement.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Is this true in all cases?<\/p>\n\n\n\n For me, when I think of instances that I\u2019ve been angry it is always about the judgements I\u2019ve made. But what about when you see someone attack another quickly in response to a remark or physical aggression. Is this due to judgement or is it instinctual \u2018fight or flight\u2019?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Is it anger if it is instinctual?<\/p>\n\n\n\n I think it is different. The word defensiveness comes to mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Judgement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This lesson brings forward one big topic after another. My anger is caused by my judgement only. When I think about the reason I would like to stop judging others, it is to stop the hurt. I hurt myself, others, and put misinformed energy into the Whole. Anger may be the emotion of the moment but hurt is the result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Perhaps this is because I am aware. When I feel anger, I know it is showing that I am mis-judging and need to review other perspectives \u2013 this settles me and releases the anger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n My openness to other views then causes me guilt, regret, or hurt. But there are also times when seeking to see from another perspective brings clarity to release the anger to feel glad for the new understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Help me, Father, to release judgement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Anger must come from judgement.
