When I read this line my mind asks, \u2018what is truth?\u2019 I am grateful to have grown enough to realize that what I see, and think that I experience, is not truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I went back to Chapter 1 to re-read \u2018What is forgiveness?\u2019 I was reminded that it is not letting go of what someone did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cForgiveness recognizes that what you thought your brother did to you has not occurred … it sees there was no sin.\u201d (W.II.1.1.1,3)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n The truth here is God\u2019s truth, that we are all Holy Children of God, asleep and doing our best. We all act based on limited perspective and false beliefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I do not bind the world today. I feel empathy for its trials and add my energy to its awakening into Love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnd we would not remain prisoners, while You are holding freedom out to us.\u201d<\/em> (2.6)<\/p>\n\n\n\n I am sought. I see Your hand reaching out to me. I have thrashed and struggled for eons in the river of Your Love, unable to notice what holds me. You see me and, today, I see You. I accept Your hand. Correct my path, Great Love. Straighten my path and fix my rudder to go with the flow of Your Will for my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I forgive myself for its misguided efforts. I see more now so I can do better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n God for me, wanting me, seeing me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTruth undoes its (ego\u2019s) evil dreams by shining them away.\u201d<\/em> (1.2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n My CAC reading is on my mind \u2026 Father Richard spoke of how both death and resurrection are true, that we must accept both for soul transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In our culture we like to think things can never change (his article speaks of the possible dying of religion). This made me feel bad, fearful of the low times. I think of one view of reality like a wave, bad and good times on a horizontal axis. When it\u2019s bad the message is, \u2018suck it up an accept\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But I had the ‘second thought’ … a different perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Life is cycles, like the breath. Neither the in-breath or out-breath is bad or good. I heard say that life cycles are a vertical spiral, crossing on an axis of energy, yin-yang, (+&-), dark & light. Neither needs to be labeled as good or bad. And we are progressing upward!<\/p>\n\n\n I have heard spiritual teachers speak of getting off the horizontal axis and onto the vertical axis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All things are for my growth!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Knowing this allows me to see the dark times differently, to release fear, uncover truth, and find forgiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thank you, Lord, for these lovely days.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Fear binds the world.
