I change how I see the world. Life has taught me that others may be jerks but that it is just how they are showing up in my perception because of the hurt one or both of us continue to carry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The light is forgiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is the pause I take within to ask, \u2018how can I see this differently?\u2019 Then, I am gifted with new vision to see clearer and to question my perception that brought about judgements of my brother\/sister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The light is always in me, with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNow we see that darkness is our own imagining, and light is there for us to look upon.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n I am alive \u2013 the light is here. In death it moves to another state of being \u2026 or place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Am I ready to shine?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Why does our growth from childhood to adulthood involve hiding our light?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Parents and community put in rules (the programming) to help the child fit in and be safe, but these then become the standards the child judges themselves against to inflict pain on themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt just doesn\u2019t matter!\u201d<\/em> (Thinking of \u2018Meatballs\u2019, an old \u201880s kid movie).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Self-forgiveness, open-heartedness, mindfulness, compassion should be spoken of and modeled for the child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I suppose what I am writing here is a wish that humans do not go into the darkness. Wishful thinking \u2026 idealistic \u2026 a waste of time perhaps. It is still my desire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhere darkness was I look upon the light.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cFear must disappear when love has come.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n I question my progress toward You, God. There are many things I feel I\u2019ve been aware of for a while, and still, I find myself lacking in loving well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Walk with me Lord.
