\u201cWhat could we seek but our own identity?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wow! This was slipped into the prayer \u2013 I almost missed it! Here we receive further nudges toward seeing ourselves as the Holy Child of God, a part of All That Is\/God, and the light that Love extends into this 3d world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holding this feeling \u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I see myself standing. With intention, I take a step forward toward Love\/God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9-15-2023<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat could we want but to remember You?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2026 to remember our Self.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This lesson is sitting strongly in me as truth as I just finished reading an article about the NDE of Mellen-Thomas Benedict. He died of cancer but had the courage to, when approaching the light, to ask some BIG questions about human existence and the cosmos. In the ten-minute reading of the article, all of the information he shared about the answers he received was in line with my learning these past 10 years, as well as what I see that the Course teaches us about ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God is experiencing Itself through everything made manifest. It\u2019s all God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGod is our only goal, our only Love.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

9-15-2022<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is an easy lesson \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A thought just popped in my mind. I saw myself promoting myself with words. Yes … my ego is still active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The image reminded me that I think little of myself, so I use words to show that I am smarter than others to remedy my feelings of being less than. I thought that God was paramount in my mind, but I was shown that it is actually my view of myself as small (and the need to hide this \u2026 protect this).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My goal is God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the pointless little goal that overshadows my behavior? Fear of ridicule \u2026 shame. (I feel a knot in my solar plexis.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
