To see all of the pain and destruction in the world means that we value it?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n There is a lot going on in the world that I don\u2019t see. I don\u2019t follow the news. I tell myself that if I am meant to know about something, it will come to me through friends or social media that I follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And yet, the memory came back of not seeing something right in front of me. The memory was of a relationship — my being in love in my 20s. He told me of his female conquests when we first started dating. Later, my brother told me my guy was cheating on me. I did not believe it. After 3 years I broke it off, not because of infidelity but because of too many disappointments related to him keeping a job. After the breakup I realized that he had to have cheated on me \u2014 there was no other reason for my brother, who loved me, to have told me that. I could not see it at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Another thought is about how, since my spiritual awakening, I see so much love, caring, and compassion in the world. The evidence of God\u2019s Love is everywhere when you become a seeker of God\u2019s Love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt is impossible to see two worlds which have no overlap of any kind. Seek for the one: the other disappears.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n As I read the lesson, my mind went to what I get anxious about these days, my adult kids. My mind quickly shifted to an image of my death bed where me and my kids share words of open-hearted loving-care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Why not now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n This is the world that I want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Do the people I love know that I love them? People came first. He either saw or chose to see their inner light, truth, innocence, apart from what was visible in this world.
