\u201cI am.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I have referenced before, the last few weeks I have a practice of singing \u2018I am light\u2019 by India.arie to center myself. (L241<\/a>) This song brings me right to my heart center. Also, in the last few weeks, I have been listening to a new new-for-me spiritual teacher. This teacher has a theory he teaches that I see as similar to ACIM. One thing that he says is to not put anything after \u2018I am\u2019 as \u2018I am\u2019 is who we are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love my song of \u2018I am light\u2019 so much for the Loving presence it brings that I have not given my attention to this recommendation. Today\u2019s lesson has brought understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u2018I am\u2019 foundation of me (whether it is light or not) is eternally safe (and in Love). This is the perspective that this lesson is speaking from. The \u2018I am\u2019 core of me is the extension of God, Source, Creator into this world, animating me and All-That-Is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9-1-2023<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

I read again the section on Gentleness<\/em> in Chapter 4 of the Manual for Teachers<\/em>. This says that it is in gentleness that our strength lies. That this is sanity over choosing to harm another. Do we see this in the world?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lesson itself also had me questioning. Are we not constantly reminded of people who are suffering in this world?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I question the truth of this lesson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hollie\u2019s notes have helped me \u2013 \u2018inside-outside safety\u2019 she calls it. She reminds us of the effect of remembering our connection to Source, the Love of God, when troubling times come. I can see how this brings inner peace as well as strength in our choosing Love over attack.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On January 9th<\/sup> I noted in my blog my theme word for the year. My guides told me it was \u2018help\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This lesson explains fully what I believe my guides intend for 2022. That is for me to learn to ask for help, and not just when things get critical as I\u2019ve done in the past. I am to release my grip on controlling everything around me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
