Welcome. What should I know today?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
(This is me with words of welcome, waiting for His step toward me as offered in the Part II Introduction.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n [Love exists always whether you want to see it or not. Love is foundational, it manifests all you see and all you are.]<\/p>\n\n\n\n Love is causal to all I see! But is it even in the violent?<\/p>\n\n\n\n [Desires for love and peace can bring actions that harm. Fear is not opposite to Love but longing for what Love offers \u2013 peace, joy, strength, truth, light\/healing.]<\/p>\n\n\n\n I hadn\u2019t thought of light as healing. I will spend time with this. _\/\\_<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026 we have reached the holy peace we never left.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n I thought of \u2018the Prodigal Son\u2019 as I read this line in the lesson. (This parable was also mentioned this morning in Fr. Richard\u2019s Daily Mediation. His reflection was about restorative justice.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the lesson, the words about timelessness and continuity seem confusing on their own. Reflection on them under the lens of \u2018the Prodigal Son\u2019 helped me to understand. The son\u2019s perspective of leaving and forgetting the Father\u2019s Love is not how the Father sees the son. The love for the son is continuous; the Father\u2019s patience, in knowing the son will return, is unwavering and therefore timeless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n God Loves me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis we accept as wholly true today.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Father, today I am Your kid again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe reached the holy peace we have never left.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n We have someone in the family who is ill and may die. When I go into contemplation, thoughts of him arise. Prayer for most benevolent outcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I feel he is happy, ready to return to the holy peace. I feel glad for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I\u2019ve been told he holds a great belief in God.
