It is Faith Hill\u2019s song, \u2018I love the way you love me.\u2019 This is something to be grateful for, God\u2019s Love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It began with the line, \u201cIt\u2019s not right, it\u2019s not fair, what you\u2019re missing over there.\u201d Is God sending me Love notes? <3<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cLove is the way I walk in gratitude.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n My thoughts are on Richard Rohr\u2019s daily emails. This week the series is on innocence, RR says from the Latin meaning \u2018unwounded\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Today, the conversation discussed the idea of Christianity as \u2018the cult of the innocent\u2019. We pretend we are innocent of all the events of the world we participate in. Richard referenced Luke 18:19 where Jesus is called good but redirects to say, \u2018God alone is good\u2019. It says that Jesus dismisses it, it\u2019s a game he doesn\u2019t want to play. The article goes on to speak of all the gifts, grace, mercy, unconditional Love, that we are meant to be about but convince ourselves, and others, that we don\u2019t need the gifts \u2013 because we are not sinners! \u2018The cult of the innocent!\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n Love and presence are gifts of the Holy Spirit. We ignore that they are right here and act on our own, separate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I want to remember to ask of HS, \u2018can I share this gratitude with you?\u2019 I\u2019m not there with understanding the love + gratitude connection, so I will ask for help.
