\u201cBetween these paths there is another road that leads away from loss of every kind, for sacrifice and deprivation both are quickly left behind. This is the way appointed for you now.\u201d<\/em> [CE W-155.5:1-2]<\/p>\n\n\n\n I am being asked in this lesson to be a guide for others along the path to God. I can acknowledge that truth is not found in this world, so I walk forward open-minded to the truths that HS reveals to me regularly. My work is to remain humble and asking for guidance as I move through the world that may bump me around or knock me down. HS is always beside me extending a hand to make me vertical once again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I ended my notes yesterday with the prayer from Lesson 71. Like my minister vows of a year-ago, this prayer says \u2018yes\u2019 to what I may be guided to do as a teacher of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Also, in yesterday’s notes, I said how I felt more comfortable with the idea of being a messenger for HS rather than a minister of God. I have my ideas, which come from the lesson but also from my own experience, that being a messenger will just be about having the right words come into my mind when I am in conversation with someone. The prayer from Lesson 71 tells me that more may be expected of me and that is scary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I try to avoid using the word \u2018faith\u2019 as in today\u2019s world we see it identified with people who are unloving as well as the cause of aggressive acts, but I will apply it now as I believe Jesus asks us to in the Gospels. I will have faith in what HS asks me to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I will grow from interactions with others. The lesson tells me that I cannot receive the gifts that I am given from truth until I give them to another. And, I believe, my joy will rise and expand from communion with my brothers and sisters. May it be so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe are asked today to relax our grip on what we think the world is for. We are asked to resign as the boss of the whole life thing. We are asked to turn our eyes instead towards the Love beyond and inside all of it and accept this into our hearts so that we can light up and be led so that we might, in turn, lead.\u201d<\/em> ~ Hollie Holden<\/p>\n\n\n\n As I read the lesson, each line was pleasurable as it affirmed where I am today and where my attention should be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe walk with God.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n I had not one line to build this reflection upon and only joy at completing the reading. Not knowing how to proceed I thought to turn to Hollie\u2019s notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She completed the work I was considering, of trying to summarize the whole lesson. I am thankful for Hollie\u2019s blessing and wish to move forward with my day, to \u2018walk along the road to Him\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe walk to God. Pause and reflect on this.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Changes in my life have been difficult in recent years, but still I walk toward God. Being retired has cleared my busy life, but each morning I reflect and walk toward God. Each day I ask, \u2018Tricia, what is next?\u2019 knowing that it must be something that keeps me walking toward God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The changes are tough on my psyche while in my walk toward God I find peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Blessed Holy Child of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI will step back and let Him lead the way, For <\/em>I would walk along the road to Him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Feeling grateful for this beautiful lesson.
