\u201cGrace is not learned \u2026 Yet we prepare for grace in that an open mind can hear the Call to waken. It is not shut tight against God\u2019s Voice.\u201d<\/em> [CE W-169.3:1,4-5]<\/p>\n\n\n\n In my reflection, I was just basking in the words about grace. Robert Perry\u2019s commentary brought my attention to the lesson being about timelines. Robert said that we can know grace in two forms:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIn its ultimate form, grace is God\u2019s act of reaching down and lifting us back to Him in the final step, which permanently restores us to our true place in Heaven. However, the main usage of \u201cgrace\u201d in this lesson is its second face, where it refers to brief foreshadowings of the final step, in which God lifts us out of the dream and into Heaven momentarily.\u201d (para3)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Course teaches that by our choice we can move ourselves through worldly timelines faster, but it also teaches that everything has already occurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSo we have these two completely different perspectives on the same journey. In one perspective, you are in the present, making choices that govern a future that is still wide open. In the other perspective, you are standing beyond the distant future merely reliving a journey that was over a long time ago.\u201d<\/em> ~ RP para9<\/p>\n\n\n\n As I pondered this, I wrote in my notes \u2026 am I just a memory in the mind of God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n There is a lot to consider with this thought. I think that I will come back to it many times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cGrace becomes inevitable instantly in those who have prepared a table where it can gently be laid and willingly received; an altar clean and holy for the gift.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n As I wrote last year, my experience has been more of witnessing grace just coming to aid me, unexpectedly. These are the memories of great blessings in my life. Now I am ready to live in the state of grace all of the time. I lay my table with care and beauty. I welcome the gifts that HS will provide to lend me where I am meant to be in God\u2019s will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBy grace I live. By grace I am released. By grace I give. By grace I will release.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Grace blesses me moving onto my blessing of others \u2026 necessary and needed to flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026 for grace cannot come until the mind prepares itself for true acceptance.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n OK, but right now my mind can think of two types of grace then \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n The lesson speaks of the preparation we make to be open, loving, accepting to release to join God\u2019s will in a field of grace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Also, I have experienced miracles of grace in my life. Wonderful connections (and miracles) where I was unaware and did not set an intention for grace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I\u2019m thinking of a lovely phrase that was given me by either Oprah or Iyanla. \u201cGrace just comes.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n <3<\/p>\n\n\n\n I feel such gratitude for these lessons on grace.
