\u201cHe would not leave an unforgiving thought without correction, nor one thorn or nail to hurt His holy Son in any way.\u201d (para.9)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cLet mercy come to you more quickly.\u201d (para.10)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n In the \u2018Daily Meditation\u2019 today from the CAC, teacher Paula D\u2019Arcy spoke of the light in her grief. Pregnant with her second child, her husband and first child were killed in a car crash. She told of being in the darkness of grief but aware of a loving light nearby. Her prayers became \u2018show me, show me\u2019 as well as \u2018teach me how to see\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As I read of God\u2019s mercy in paragraph 10, I wondered if the light that was with Paula D\u2019Arcy was mercy. (I have been looking for an understanding of mercy as it was a constant prayer of my mother\u2019s.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n We do, and we do, and we do, so busy in this world, creating what we think that we should. Pain comes and we are so in the habit of doing, and controlling, that it is a significant moment (a holy instant?!) that we notice a light of God\u2019s tender mercy right alongside us, ready to provide to us what we need if we can only notice and ask.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Show me, Great Love, how to see this differently. I let go of my way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cForgive, and you will see this differently.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Back in 2013, when I read ACIM as just another spiritual book, my take away lesson (from 1200+ pages) was to ask \u2018how can I see this differently\u2019. It was a tool I called on in troubling times, it was in accord with learning to be mindful, and opened me to more compassion which I liked. It is surprising to me now that I didn\u2019t get that this was forgiveness, and therefore Love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When I asked myself to see a situation differently, was I opening to Love \u2026 stepping into a field of grace?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yes, I was asking for help and answers from a greater mind, HS, who is Love flowing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So blessed \u2026 thank you Great Love for taking care of this little girl who is so fortunate to always stumble into your loving presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n _\/\\_<\/p>\n\n\n\n Forgive, and I will see this differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Forgive, and I will see this differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Forgive, and I will see this differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I will forgive, and this will disappear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These are the words Holy Spirit speaks to me in all my tribulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In this lesson we are told what God wills for us and doesn\u2019t think about \u2013 doesn\u2019t get into the details of our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hollie\u2019s notes get into this more so I could not help to think of the \u2018prodigal son\u2019 parable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Christ Jesus gave us the means to understand and not blame God for every occurrence in this life. The son left home and had experiences based on the choices he made.
