I feel stirrings within my heart as Your response to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Great Love, a smile comes to my face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I pause, Great Love, as I ask for all of my cells to take part in Your response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The glow extends \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
May it encompass this building. May it extend to my loved ones around the world \u2026 and now fill in the gaps so all of Earth is included in Love\u2019s glow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My view of Earth opens to see our Sun feeding Its light and Love to our mother, Earth. The energy of Your Love flowing like a figure eight between the great bodies I see as Father and Mother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Great Love, Your blessings upon us all. May Your Will be done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unsure if the lesson wanted more of me, I read Hollie\u2019s notes to see if she offered advice about a name. She left if open to us and instead offered a metaphor: floating in a boat. She said to ask ourselves what our anchor is tied to and then move the anchor to the name of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I saw myself lying in a small row boat. My inner thoughts said, \u2018no anchor\u2019. I re-read Hollie\u2019s suggestion but felt strongly to have no anchor and to float freely. I realized that my version of the metaphor gave the \u2018God\u2019 role to the lake the boat was on (representing everything). I was meant to just float. I am called to release all anchors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dear Lord, do I lie back and be taken? Do I sit up and observe? Do I ask to be taken where I desire? (I feel a little stir of possibility.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n I wish to remain in awareness of Great Love surrounding me and carrying me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What is God\u2019s name?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yahweh pops up but this has too many negative \u2018alien\u2019 connections these days. Is \u2018God\u2019 as a name enough?<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the book series \u2018Masters of the Far East\u2019 there was a section that spoke of the power of saying \u2018God\u2019. So I\u2019ve gone back to being comfortable with saying God. The timing was good as I was just beginning ACIM with it\u2019s classic, masculine word usage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n English speaking people have spoken this word for a long time, under a varied range of emotions. \u2018Oh God\u2019 being a reactionary response to upset and pleasure. And, of course, the sacredness from devotion and petition.
