Two weeks ago I wrote about my reflections on Universal\nTruths, though, all the while, a little bit of song from Jesus Christ Superstar\nran thru my mind. And, it continues to do so. It is the phrase that I have\nunderlined above. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We both have truths \u2013 are mine the same as yours?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It couldn\u2019t be more obvious then with these times that we\nlive in today that, in almost all situations, truth is personal. I think this\nis why it is so important to know there are Universal Truths as a touchstone to\nreflect on and get perspective. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How can I look at this differently?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I am facing a conflict with another, or just have that\ntickle in my mind, that I need to look at something from a different\nperspective the Universal Truths are a tool to provide the insight for me to\narrive at understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I do believe that heart centered people find their answers\ninnately through Love while my method is an exercise of intelligence (and now routine\nto reflect) to raise my perspective. What an honor it would be to be like that,\nto live from the heart \u2026 I\u2019ll get there one day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This idea thread has brought to my attention that even the\nbig Truths are not of the level of Great Love. I am thinking that Truth is a\ntrait of mind at all levels. Actually, it was me who took the 5 given by Bashar\nand to call them Truths, he called them Laws\nof Creation<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bashar: Five Laws of\nCreation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. I \/You\nexist.<\/em><\/li>
  2. Everything\nis here and now.<\/em><\/li>
  3. The\none is the All, the all are the One.<\/em><\/li>
  4. What\nyou put out is what you get back.<\/em><\/li>
  5. Everything\nchanges except the first 4 laws. <\/em><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Law \u2013 a rule of conduct or procedure established by custom,\nagreement, or authority. 1<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In my mind I can use a computer program as a metaphor for\nthe Universe (or not a metaphor for those who believe we live in a virtual\nreality Universe).  These laws can then be\nconsidered the basic rules creating the structure of the program. Great Love is\nthe nature of the Creator and the medium that all of the creation floats\nwithin. Creator designed the system and created the rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It is then me who took these Laws, and by accepting them,\nmade them into my own Truths. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    So are truths always of the mind, intellect, based on a set\nof beliefs? Are we choosing what is truth?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Definition of truth: <\/em>(1) : the body of real things, events, and facts : actuality; (2) : the state of being the case : fact; (3) often capitalized : a transcendent fundamental or spiritual reality. 2<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I paused in my Sunday writing as I couldn\u2019t get the writing\nto flow. The following is continued Monday August 10th<\/sup>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This thread is taking turns that are unexpected. I thought I\nwould be writing about personal truths, but I\u2019ve reflected on Truth up to the\nlevel of the Creator, I\u2019ve been pulled into looking at what is law, and I keep\ngetting more hits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I laughed this morning when I realized that in my song\nreference that Pilot first asked Jesus, \u201cWhat is truth? Is truths unchanging\nlaws?\u201d Boy, Pilate had some good questions, if only the Christ had answered. It\nmight have saved me time here in reflection. But, actually I am enjoying the\nthings the Universe keeps opening up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Then this morning in Father Rohr\u2019s daily meditation he is\nbeginning a series on \u201cOrder, Disorder, Re-Order\u201d.3<\/sup> (I\u2019m excited for\nthese reflections!) He brought more insight into the concept of laws. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Fr. Rohr calls law, tradition, and boundaries ORDER. My\nunderstanding of his thoughts are that we need the security of the Order phase\nas the springboard to spiritual growth and transformation. It provides the\n\u2018solid ground\u2019 to advance in the freedom of new creation. Father Rohr uses\nMathew 5:17 of Jesus saying he \u2018has not come to throw out the law but to bring\nit to completion\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This Gospel quote makes me think that there is a new next thing coming but we have to leave the boundaries of what we know for a while to test the waters, (splash with a bit of chaos) for the new and improved to emerge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u2026 losing the flow of ideas again. Too many scattered ideas.\nI will keep my awareness alert for more understanding of truth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
