“Beware of the temptation to perceive yourself unfairly treated. In this view, you seek to find an innocence which is not Theirs (God and Christ) but yours alone, and at the cost of someone else’s guilt.” [CE T-26.X.4:1-2]

My belief that I am not worthy and should expect loss is the cause of my experiences. My brother’s behavior towards me is a result of my desires and perception. I cannot be unfairly treated because I am the cause as well as the judge. I can choose to see my brother as innocent thereby releasing the importance I have placed on the illusory event.
