T-24-III Forgiveness as the End of Specialness.

“Truth is not frail. Illusions leave it perfectly unmoved and undisturbed. But specialness is not the truth in you. It can be thrown off balance by anything.” [CE T-24.III.3:2-6]

I am beginning to comprehend that my desire to be special does not serve me. It separates me from others and from God. Can I desire to be loving-kindness more than specialness? One is my past (perhaps of many lifetimes) and the other my goal.
