T-17-V The Beginning of the Holy Relationship.

“You undertook together, to invite the Holy Spirit into your relationship.” (13.1)

“A relationship undertaken by two individuals for their unholy purposes suddenly has holiness for its goal.” (6.2)

Robert Perry, in his commentary, explains this well. Upon our asking HS into the relationship … “He does a pivotal thing. He sets a new goal for the relationship. Formerly it was dedicated to the goal of each getting the treasure it sought. Now, it is dedicated to the goal of holiness.” ~CircleofA.org

I found more clarity from Robert as he related holiness to purity, that the relationship’s goal is to become fully pure – all that is not love is to be noticed and released as insignificant.

“In your newness, remember that you have started again, together. And take each other’s hand, to walk together along a road for more familiar than now believe.” (11.3-4)
