“The ego analyzes; the Holy Spirit accepts.” (1.1)

This section reminds me of hearing Sadhguru say that the intellect is a knife; that it needs to cut up everything to learn about it. This had me wonder if there was a way to learn of something without cutting it up? This question remained unanswered for me, until today.

I can see myself sitting with, observing, perhaps a flower. I want to understand … by just being with it. Thoughts of how it relates to me, to its environment, the seasons may all come up. I might take in its scent, glow, and/or field of energy. This method feels like it points more to wholeness than separation.

‘The Holy Spirit accepts’ I am interpreting as ‘the Holy Spirit takes in’, as in saying ‘be with me’.

I can know you if you are a part of me. Be with me brother/sister. _/\_
