T-5.VII The Question of Karma.
3-31-2025
“Even when you, cannot go to God with someone, you can go for him and bring knowledge back to him.” (4.5)
In this section, Jesus speaks of interest in past-lives as just a curiosity that feeds the ego. (The mind is in the NOW, and creates our worldly reality.)
“Knowledge can be found only if it is sought to give it to someone else.” (4.3)
(We receive through giving.)
The quote at the top stood out to me. It softens the disconnection I feel to many loved ones who I cannot share conversations with about God and spirit. There is much that, at times, I feel inspired to offer, but do not as I have evaluated that they will not be interested or reject it. This says to me that I can do something when inspired. I can offer it in prayer to HS to serve the other person in the best way possible.
Another point on this lesson, regarding not putting emphasis on the past, in Robert Perry’s commentary, he points out that when we return to perfect Love, perfect Love does not ask you where you’ve been or what you have done.
I feel the truth in this as I think of ‘the Prodigal Son’s’ return to his Father’s home. Jesus taught us of the nature of God. We can be with It, perfect Love, and let go of all the time traveling. <3
